TOP HOME REMEDIES TO CURB TEETH SENSITIVITY

Teeth Sensitivity

Having sensitive teeth can make it a struggle of sorts while eating or drinking. Now, isn’t that annoying? The root cause of tooth sensitivity is the corroding of the tooth enamel and the exposure of softer inner part of the tooth, known as “dentine”. Dentine is made up of very fine tubes, known as tubules, that connect with the nerves and are loaded with fluids. Once these nerves are left exposed, any intake of food or beverage, whether it is hot, cold or sweet can trigger the reaction of these nerves and result in a stinging sensation. While a visit to the dental clinic might provide you some relief, it can be both time consuming and an expensive fare!

Majority of people go through teeth sensitivity, thanks to the unhealthy lifestyle and eating habits.  We have a number of home remedies that can actually prove to be quite effective. These remedies are also far economic and do not cost expensive dental appointments.

In case you don’t have neem juice handy, just crush a few neem leaves and add them instead. Rinse your mouth with this solution at least twice a day. Neem is known for its anti-bacterial properties, and when mixed with salt and water acts as a great healing agent for the teeth.
